The National Roads Administration is responsible, within the limits fixed by the laws and regulations, for civil works on behalf of the State.
These functions are governed by the 2010 Organic Law and the Grand-Ducal Regulations of 2010 and 2015.
Outside the direction, the Administration comprises eleven divisions and eleven regional services.
Other important entities are the airport service, Highway Traffic Control and Information (CITA), Highways Intervention and Maintenance Center and the Electro-Mechanical Service as well as the team of the tree pruning.
